Liquid I.V. and the Power of Electrolytes and Hydration

DRINK DRINK DRINK
Lets be real, I have a hard time staying hydrated and drinking enough water. In fact I suck at drinking water. Throughout the day I’ll chug glasses of water. I have a big water jug that I try to fill up and that way I can monitor my water intake and have “goals” but its always been a chore.

Dehydration
Did you know that 75% of Americans suffer from chronic dehydration? When you are dehydrated you lose salts that are essential for body function. Now add working out to the mix! Just think about how much you sweat and how easily you can become dehydrated.

Liquid I.V. uses a specific ratio of sodium, glucose and potassium, to deliver water and nutrients directly into your bloodstream, which hydrates you faster. The electrolytes allow water to be absorbed in the upper digestive system more effectively.  Liquid I.V. can provide the same hydration as 2-3 bottles of water. BAM! Sign me up!

Lifestyle
I live in Arizona and it feels like its always summer here, which means 100+ temperatures everyday. Its HOT and we sweat a lot! Liquid I.V. has been a lifesaver for the boys and I.  I have a general rule, if a supplement is not safe for my boys to drink then it probably isn’t all that great for me either. I absolutely LOVE that my boys can drink Liquid I.V. too.  It has way less sugar than sports drinks and NO artificial flavors or sweeteners and is also Non-GMO.  It also has 3x the electrolytes as your average sports drink, which makes it a great alternative to “juice” for my boys! I don’t have any privacy as a mom to two little kids. They share my food, my drinks, my treats, my bed, my showers, my toilet…they are ALWAYS THERE. My water is their water! So important that it is a safe alternate for them as well.

Pregnancy and Liquid I.V.
Obviously I am pregnant and into my second trimester. I suffer from muscle cramps, you know, those awful cramps you get in the middle of the night that wake you up! I also get restless leg syndrome when pregnant. I go to bed and my legs are restless---its torture!!! Let me tell you my secret cure--- LIQUID I.V.!!! Yes! Dead serious since ive been drinking more water and sprinkling Liquid I.V. in my water my leg cramps and restless leg syndrome have improved tremendously! Liquid I.V. contains more vitamin c than an orange, vitamin B3, B5, B6, and B12, and also potassium, which has been shown to prevent muscle cramps! You know what they say is the number one cure for nausea during pregnancy? You got it B12!! I had so much nausea in my 1st trimester, more nausea than my previous pregnancies combined. I put Liquid I.V. in my water and it helped a lot with my nausea. I don’t recommend products unless I 100% believe in it. Well let me tell you, this supplement has really improved my quality of life while pregnant this time around!

Convenience
Even if I know something is good for me, if it is not convenient, then I wont take it. I juggle mom life and in between have 2 busy jobs. I am ALWAYS on the go and always running late ;) I barely have time to take my vitamins. Liquid I.V. comes in a portable stick pack that you can take anywhere; you can put it in your pocket or throw it in your bag. It’s been a lifesaver for me!

I am concerned about the 500 mg of sodium. No concerns there?

Can I drink the Liquid IV while taking Pre-Natal vitamins with B12 already in them?? I'm afraid of having too much of certain vitamins in my body. However, I like these because I do not drink enough water. (I'm not pregnant yet, but my Doctor told me to take prenatals a couple months before trying).
